It's September...

...and that means hockey season is just a little over a month away! (Thank god..) Training camp should be starting in the next few weeks, we'll start to see a pre-season game or two within the month, and next thing you know we will be analyzing this season's roster, the "pundits" will be talking about how poor the Isles will do this year (this is a yearly ritual which all Isles fans are used to), and we will be off and running on October 10th in Jersey!

September is a month of changes..and that extends to this website here as well...

-- First off on the agenda, I start graduate school tonite. I'll be going two nights a week for my Masters in Journalism, so if you see some games (most notably Sound Tigers games...A LOT happen to fall on those nights) that don't have coverage, more often than not I will be in class. Thankfully I think it will only affect one Islander home game this semester so I lucked out on that.

-- As some of you may know I've been working a two-month paid internship in Manhattan this summer. Well that two months is almost up, but I recently got notice that I will be extended a couple of extra weeks on a contract basis, with the possibility of leading into more...

-- I've got some projects in the works regarding this website and the Blog Box in general...so keep an eye out for those...
